Train trip to Machu Picchu round trip. Explore the Inca citadel. Overnight in Cusco.
Day 3
Free day until flight time. Shopping or relax in Cusco before departing.
Day 1 · 24th June
Breakfast at your hotel in the City of Cusco.
7:40 a.m. The Travel Agency will pick you up from your hotel with its transport and your guide to head to the first station of the staging which will be at Qoricancha (Golden Fence).
08:00 a.m. We will meet at the Qoricancha where we will settle in to appreciate the departure of the Inca with his retinue.
09:00 a.m. or 09:30 a.m. Looking up slightly we can see the Inca making an invocation to the sun god.
10:00 a.m. We will walk up to the Plaza de Armas where we will settle in one of the corners to appreciate the passing of the Inca procession. Then we will take our mobility at Regocijo square to head to Sacsayhuamán (approx. 20 min).
12:00 p.m. Sacsayhuamán (voice derived from Quechua terms "saqsay" and "waman" which translated into English means "satiate hawk"): This impressive archaeological centre is at 3,555 m.a.s.l., one kilometre from the Inca neighbourhood "Qolqanpata."
13:00 hrs we will have our box lunch. And the ceremony will begin. We will settle in the orange VIP grandstand of the stage to have the best view of the show. This is the only stage where we will be comfortable appreciating this magnificent staging of Inti Raymi.
15:30 hrs approx. End of the staging, we will meet and head towards the mobility and we will drop you off at your respective hotels. (This day there will be heavy traffic; some people whose hotels are near the square choose to walk down to the Plaza de Armas, approx. 15 min walk down).
To attend INTI RAYMI, the EMUFEC Company offers the necessary services: Grandstands in Sacsayhuamán equipped with modern and comfortable VIP seats, mobile restrooms, tourist information booth, first aid stations, and security (police and private), allowing you to enjoy the Festival.
We have 03 VIP grandstands that the passenger will have to choose: Orange grandstand, Red grandstand, Green grandstand.
The Inti Raymi tour includes: Tourist Transport, Professional Guide, Entry to VIP grandstand at Sacsayhuamán, Box Lunch.
Recommendations for the Inti Raymi tour: Windbreaker, comfortable clothing, small backpack with personal items, photo camera, cash for purchases, mineral water, sunscreen, and sun hat.
Day 2 · 25th June
At the agreed time after your breakfast at the hotel, we will head to the Ollantaytambo station (approx. 2 hours).
We will board the train according to the chosen schedule and head to Machu Picchu Pueblo.
We will meet the guide at the bus station to board the bus that will take us to the sanctuary of Machu Picchu. Travel time is (approx. 30 minutes).
Upon the arrival of the bus we will find the Entrance gate to the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu where we present our tickets, Passport or Identity document.
Together with the guide we enter the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu and perform a guided tour of approximately 2 hours, where we will visit the important points of the Inca citadel.
At the end of the tour we will have free time for photographs in Machu Picchu.
Then the guide will say goodbye to us, so we can board the bus back to the town of Aguas Calientes, where we can enjoy a delicious lunch at the APU INTI restaurant.
In the afternoon we will have time to visit the artisan markets or take a short walk through the city.
At the appropriate time we will board our Tourist train with arrival in Ollantaytambo. 1:40 hrs arrival at the Ollantaytambo Train station where agency staff will be waiting for your transfer to your Hotel in the city of Cusco. 1:50 hrs. Arrival in Cusco.
The Machu Picchu tour includes: Tourist Transport Cusco-Ollantaytambo-Cusco, Ollantaytambo – Machu Picchu round trip Train Ticket, Professional Guide, Bus up and down, Machu Picchu entrance tickets.

Day 3 · 26th June
Free morning to explore the city on the passenger's own.
At the appropriate time, transfer to Cusco airport.
This day includes: Transport, Airport – Hotel Transfer.
Recommendations: Identity documents at hand, light clothing, detailed luggage.
