Day 21st June: Arrival and Rest
Welcome to Cusco! We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. We recommend a light and relaxing day to adapt to the altitude. You can visit the Plaza de Armas or the San Pedro market on your own.

Day 2 · 22nd June
Day 22nd June: Cusco City Tour
Breakfast at the hotel. In the afternoon (1:00 p.m.), we start our cultural tour. We will visit the Cathedral, the Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun), and the archaeological sites of Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay.
Includes: Guide, transport, and entrance tickets.
Day 3 · 23rd June
Day 23rd June: Machu Picchu Magical Day
Early morning transfer to the train station. Enjoy a spectacular train ride to Aguas Calientes. Board the bus to Machu Picchu and enjoy a 2-hour guided visit of the Inca citadel. In the afternoon, return to Cusco by train and bus.
Includes: Train tickets, bus up/down, Machu Picchu entry, guide, and hotel transfers.
Day 4 · 24th June
Day 24th June: Inti Raymi 2026 Festival
Breakfast at the hotel. Today is the grand day of the Sun Festival. We will attend the three stages of the event: Qoricancha, Plaza de Armas, and finally, the main ceremony at the Sacsayhuamán esplanade with VIP seats.
Includes: VIP entry, transport, guide, and box lunch.
Day 5 · 25th June
Day 25th June: Airport Transfer
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the Cusco airport for your flight back home or to your next destination.

(Inti). The
current staging takes place in three settings: the Qoricancha, the Plaza de Armas, and the
Sacsayhuamán
fortress, where the Inca performs rituals and offerings.
Yes, all our packages that include the day of Inti Raymi feature entry to the VIP grandstand
(orange or
green) at Sacsayhuamán, ensuring the best view and comfort during the main ceremony.
We recommend resting for the first few hours upon arrival, drinking plenty of coca tea, staying
hydrated,
and avoiding heavy meals. Our tours are designed for progressive acclimatisation. If the package
includes
Rainbow Mountain, it is best to do it at the end.
Yes, most of our packages include a guided visit to Machu Picchu. Transportation is provided by
bus from
Cusco/Ollantaytambo to the train station, followed by a train journey (Expedition, Vistadome, or
Voyager) to
Aguas Calientes, and finally the bus up to the citadel.
It is mandatory to carry your original passport or the physical ID (DNI) that you used for the
reservation.
Without the original document, entry to Machu Picchu and boarding of trains is not permitted.
It is a demanding hike due to the altitude (5,000 metres above sea level). It is recommended to
be in good
physical condition and to have spent at least 2 days in Cusco to acclimatise. There is the
option to rent
horses in the area to facilitate the ascent.
It is recommended to book at least 3 to 5 months in advance. Tickets for Inti Raymi and Machu
Picchu, as
well as space in hotels and trains, sell out quickly for June dates.
June is a season of cold and intense sun. Ideally, dress in layers: light clothing for midday
and warm
garments (jackets, gloves, hats) for morning and night. Don't forget sunscreen, sunglasses, and
a hat.
The packages include breakfasts at the hotels. Additionally, a VIP box lunch is included for the
day of Inti
Raymi. Some tours, such as the Sacred Valley or Rainbow Mountain, also include buffet lunches as
specified
in the itinerary.
